Windows 7 veeeery big problem. :(( - AiVAMAN - 23.04.2010

Hello, I have a little brother, so he has made something with my computer... When I try to open any shortcut, or application it opens Adobe Photoshop CS4. Icons also changed to photoshop..
Everything looks like this:

As you can see notepad isn't working too.
In start the same.

Any ideas how to fix it?
P.S. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium x64

As far as i think, your brother used the 'Open with' option, selected 'Notepad' and ticked 'Always open this with this program' on a file. To solve this you should do the same as he did, but change the opening program to the program's '.exe' (or whatever) in their directory.

Looks like he changed the file association for .lnk files (shortcuts). I had this problem last night with BAT files only opening in Notepad and rebooting fixed it. Have you tried rebooting?

Yes I did. Still the same.
But there is a good thing too, I have a point not to let him sit at my pc. xD

I'm not sure in this but there is an option to reset the program you use to open files whit by default maybe that would fix this issue too
