SA-MP not working - Printable Version

SA-MP not working - hyzoran - 13.04.2010

I am using Windows 7 64-bit
When running SA in XP compatibility mode SA-MP just goes to single Player
But when I run both SA-MP and SA in compatibility mode after the first Splash screen loads the game crashes.
I had a workaround, which was to run both SA and SAMP in non compatibility mode, which used to work, until I got my new monitor,
now if I dont run SA in compatibility mode the game just starts up and then closes immediately.
So basically I can run single player but not SA-MP anymore, help anyone?

Your San Andreas is v.2. Use the downgrader patch to make it v.2 -> v.1.

Wrong, I was using SA-MP a month ago without reinstalling it, patching it or anything.
Unless my computer did it automatically

He mean gta_sa.exe v1.0 .

Delete the gta_sa.set file in My Documents > GTA San Andreas user files. If this doesn't work, then you may have to reinstall the game.
