racecing system save records - Cank - 12.04.2010

hi, i'm scripting a race system and don't know really how to save the records..
when someone finishes a race his racing time should be compared to a list of top5 records for this track and if it is a new record it should be saved and there should be a message like "New Highscore: <name> (<number of highscore>(1-5)>)Time: <time>".
can someone help?
