Everyone crashing - Printable Version

Everyone crashing - Mikep. - 06.04.2010

I joined my server, and as soon as I connected I crashed, then when I came back I saw like 10 people timeout at the same time. Then about 2 minutes later, this happened:



I restarted my server and it's fine now, but why did it happen?

Probably a server bug.

i dunno but adding nos and other vehicle competent's to an vehicle that can't have it can make you crash and everyone else.

He did not change the script. He just restarted the server and it got fixed.

read what i said, if you had say a /nos command that added nos to a vehicle, say the vehicle was a motobike it would cause everyone to crash until it was reset.

hmm, ok, this might be the reason.

I highly doubt it, I manually checked all 200+ vehicles to see if NOS could be added to them.

I have one. Trust me, it's 100% nothing to do with NOS.

EDIT: Just tested all vehicles with NOS, it's DEFINATELY not that.

No, this was before 0.3a released, I wrote a anti vehicle mod crasher FS and after this released on the forum, and Kye fixed the invalid vehicle component bug.

So now not needed checking the valid nos vehicles, or something, cause its invalid, its doesn't added to the vehicle.
