Ping Kicking - BP13 - 21.03.2010
Is ping kicking necessary? Does it actually effect the server or other players? Or is it just the hing ping player that is being effected?So bottom line Is ping kicking actually necessary?

No, it's also very annoying as a lot of players spike 500+ ping when they just log in, and then BOOM, auto kick.

I remember reading a post somewhere from kaisersouse that high pings don't actually cause any lag.

Yes that was why I made this post to see everyone's opinion if it does anything or not. But then why would things like PunkBuster for example kick for high pings?
