Yes you can map, not custom objects as we don't have collision yet but any game object, the object is "bm_skate_halfpipe - 1072695029" and it's frozen into position. I have a custom editor which isn't released but IIRC you can edit certain objects with the native trainer so give that a go if you want to mess about with objects, I don't know what objects it can spawn though.
The flame is done by adding a PTFX name to the muzzle effect of your weapons xml, you can add anything to it but some make the game lag.
