I connect to a server, then the little spinning disc comes up as my cursor, when I check in my Task Manager gta_sa begins to run, then nothing happens and gta_sa closes.

I've seen other people have had this problem, but none of the solutions seem to be applicable to my problem. There's no gta_sa.set in my user files, I tried changing gta_sa to Windows 98 compatable, and I tried reinstalling both SA:MP and GTA San Andreas.

I'm sure several people have had and solved this problem before, so I'm open to any suggestions as how to fix it.

Well,
I Had the same error before ( On W-Vista )
I Think you use this to.
Including that you use AVG/Norton,
try disable firewall, and let AVG/Norton See this as Normal File
