Processor Upgrades Hard? - Smithy - 02.02.2010

Well, exactly what the title says really.

I've recently purchased my Graphic Card & Memory upgrades (Now running NVIDIA GeForce 9400GT + 3GB DDR2 RAM), and now moving onto the processor upgrade, my current is;

AMD Athlon™ 64 Processor 3200+ (Shit I know)

Worth it for the money? & What kind of games can it play? I know my computers, just a Processor upgrade has never hit me. Also are the processor upgrades hard?

It will run everything for sure. Cheap also. But I am worried about your graphic card.

I just read about this. And it says it's not really for gaming more for tv.

Ahh bollocks. Meh, ill be heading for a new graphic card soon aswell then.

For your new GPU I'd recommend the NVIDIA 9 series. Very good processors. Or even go for an ATI HD Raedon 4850 or 4870.

I think he means by upgrading, will all his previous hardware work with the processor etc.
