Segmentation faults if edit the samp.ban - sa-mp24 - 24.01.2010

Hello,

this week i found a bug.

if a customer of my hosting services edited the samp.ban file via notepad the server wont start it comes "Segmentation fault".

I've tried it on 2 dedicated Servers, 1x time on a debian 4 with 32bits and one time on a 64 bit debian 5 system.

It sounds like you're writing it wrongly, hence when the server tries to read it it encounters unexpected data and segfaults. Try creating a sample samp.ban file using vi/nano/emacs/poison of choice and see if it still segfaults.

this week i had 4 times this problem with seg fault.

if i edit the file via vi, it works good but with Filezilla -> Download it dosen't works.
