What happens is when I hit connect the first time, It does nothing. Then when I hit it again this crash message comes up and this keeps repeating over and over until I kill the process in Task Manager. I cant join any servers at all and I cant even use SA in single player...
I don't have any mods installed and everything used to work great. I'm not sure what happened but it would be great if someone could help me!

Try deleting the gta_sa.set file located in your Documents/GTA SA User Files/ folder.

Or you can try to reinstall both GTA SA and SA-MP.

Try running the game as admin or changing the compatibility mode to a previous version of the operating system.

I have the same problem with my Sa-Mp. Can you tell me how to fix it?

Sorry for bumping this topic, but if anyone else is getting this issue, try ending "gta_sa.exe" task in task manager > processes. Having this open may sometimes cause this error.

Ummmm Try uninstalling then going to the registry and delete the key. So that way it doesnt of memory of the install...

hey i got it, i saw it by another person with that bug.
here what you need to do:
open your task manager
ctrl+alt+delete
click "processes"
find gta_sa.exe
terminate/close it
rejoin to your favorite samp server

delete any mods that you might have and if that doesnt fix it reinstall gta and samp

And I would suggest you to use downgrader to downgrade Gta Sa correctly.

I didn't mean to bump this thread, but I tried Taliban1993's solution and it's the only one that worked! If you're having the same error please use this method, guys. This solution saved me a lot of problems, god bless you man!
