GTA Crashes On Exit - sidhu123 - 19.01.2010

Lately, I've been having this problem.

Every time I quit any server, my game crashes. It didn't used to happen before, just started recently. Any clue on what the problem could be, and how to fix it?

Do you get any error messages when it crashes ?

Well, not from GTA (in-game).
The game crashes and I get a windows error: "GTA:SA has stopped responding.." or whatever.

So when you press "Esc", and then quit game? This problem does happen with me sometimes, but it doesn't affect me.

I havent tried pressing "Esc" and then quitting the game. I just do "/q". I'll try this way and see how it goes.

I havent tried pressing "Esc" and then quitting the game. I just do "/q". I'll try this way and see how it goes.
I use /q, and I think that's better.

Do you happen to be spectating someone? I've heard of a similar bug happening if you quit while spectating, don't know if it was ever fixed.

Nope, I'm not spectating when I quit.

A reinstall might help.

I pressed esc and then quit the game and it didn't crash!

Anyone know why I crash when I do /q ?
