SQL Field lentgh problem - PoWerZ - 12.01.2010

I have tried to update field with a string, but it didn't succeed.
The field changed to the string but had only 63 characters(of the string).
SQL Field has a limit of 64 characters?How could i update strings which have more than 64 characters?
(Datatype of the field is MEMO),
Any help please?
