Can't Join Servers Properly - BushPig - 04.01.2010

Hey guys,
I cracked out the good ol' SA-MP today after not having played it for atleast a year. I can join most servers fine but there are a few where it loads the game fine and comes up with arrows down the bottom to select your character and a 'Spawn' button but my player doesn't show up and the buttons don't work. Any ideas on what's wrong?

Try reinstalling samp as administrator, otherwise if I remember correctly it has to do with your anims.

Anims? As in the animation files in your GTA SA folder?
