Possible bot / Player w/o name - hipy - 31.12.2009

Hi

I have been seeing lately some players that join and don't have a name, my irc scripts just gives it a space.
In the logs you then find a possible bot detection. Is this just a bug or are those guys out to crash my server?

A long time back I had this, but the players didn't even show on the TAB list. Just took place of ID's making the next real person joining ID 80 or something.
