help me plz big gta fan server not in internet bar - professional_hit - 08.12.2009

hi ther i have a prob with my server i can play on my server and it works fine but its not in the internet bar i gave my frend the ip and port but it just says retrv info but i have done everything porf forward cfg announce and all the tutors in sa_mp direct but nothing plz help me plz i click server exe and i get a msg i click alow conection and i get my info in my fav but thats it can anyone help plz

http://www.typefish.co.uk/samp-conn/(not working at the moment) is usually a good tool to test your server. This will tell you for sure if you are in the internet list or not. And if you really aren't in the internet list, it's most likely due to port forwarding.

Make sure your IP has a port on it for example

213.229.70.8:7200

this here, it must be there according to what your server.cfg says your port is.

i done the test and it says i am on the internet list but not online but i carnt find my server at all i foward my ports thats all done its all config right i got the ip right have a look yourself its 127.0.0.1:7777 and the port i forward on pc is 7777 its just not working help plz

127.0.0.1 is everyones HOME-IP.

go on http://www.ip-adress.com/ and et your REAL IP adress there..

i am not sure but i think you have forwarded the wrong ip 127.0.0.1:7777 this is a local host ip yours should be different to this.

try this site it will tell you your ip at the top of the page in big numbers then set your server.cfg and forward that

ok my ip follows 91.85.209.--- now i got that and i forward port 7777 now wat i still got no server in internet bar and this ip thing confusing in my fav i find my server and i click connect the adres is 127.0.0.1:7777 but that is my server so now wat do i do plz. ps thanks to all replys any clues

have you got your announce set to 1 in your server.cfg

i have got announce at 1 and lan on. i am not online but i am in the internet bar well thats wat the sa-mp cheker thing says. and i dont use........ that was one long senc lol. but i thingk i have figerd this out i have a wireless dongle but i get free net [ of my FRENDS router] but if port 7777 isnt open on the router am i right in thingking it wont be alowing a connection to my pc. ps thanks for all replys
