Help about plug 2 sound boxes on my PC - RyDeR` - 03.12.2009

Hello, I have 2 sound boxes so have 2 systems each has 2 boxes (=4 boxes in total).
I plug the first in the normal place (the green thing). And I want to connect the other one to for more sound or a better effect or something whatever.. Is it possible? I putted the second system in the the place where you can listen on little boxes you put on your ear (I don't know the right name lol).. But the sound of the first box will stop .. Anyone a solution, thanks anyway.

5.1 Is only possible if you have a 5.1 card and speakers.
You cant just plug in more speakers and expect the same effect :P.

I dont think thats possible aswell :P.
Cause sound always goes thru the used plug.
If i am wrong someone can correct me tho.

It can be done, but it depends on a few things. You can set your speakers to 4.1 sound and use the front and rear speaker jacks to get output. Its not true surround sound but it works and you can have more speakers. Another way to get more speakers is to buy a splitter that way you can plug 2 plugs into one.
