Can i run a server on this VPS? - SkiesOFF - 28.11.2009

Hello!

I'm thinking of run a new server of SA-MP but here in my country a dedicated server is too expensive. I found this VPS:

OS: Linux or Windows
1 Core 1.6 GHz
1 GB RAM
40GB HD
Link: 8mb

This VPS can run a SA-MP 0.3 server with 80-100 player slots?

Thanks and sorry for my english

this really depends on how efficient your scripts are, but for a server I would always choose linux.

Thanks. About the scripts, it would be a simple "freezone" mod with little changes, nothing more.

do you think the VPS can run this 'good' (i mean, without lag or using too much processors...)

thanks

i would say that it will run your server ok, but if you had 2 servers on there or a teamspeak it will start to lag out abit, and i would say get windows

yes, mmm, you need more upload, for servers ever, you need a good upload connection, i think with this pc and this conection you can get 40 players without lagg.

8mbps should be enough to sustain around 200 players (100 players uses 4mbit)
