DirectAdmin and bandwidth usage -

Does anyone know how to set up DirectAdmin control panel to monitor the bandwidth usage of the sampserver for a user? Doesn't seem to do that...

As far as I know, DirectAdmin is a web hosting control panel.

yes... and it keeps track of bandwidth usage per user... except for services on other ports so it seems.

DirectAdmin is made for webhosting, not gameserver hosting.
It does not support bandwidth monitoring of gameservers and never will either.

It uses logs of Apache and proftpd to determine bandwidth usage, hence it does not monitor any bandwidth of other services.
I'd suggest you use a proper control panel made for gameservers.
