Help pls - untexas - 04.11.2009
Hi,
i do not have a router or modem, i see there is much topics about port forwarding... When i launch my server , i can see it, but my friends cant, can some 1 help me?

how da heck u got no modem or router....my life sux i got a modem but it doesnt do anything....i can see my server but others cant CAUSE MY PORT IS NOT OPEN. so you ned to open your port..and atlease urs says its online mines says no to everything..

So, can some 1 help me? i dont have a modem or a router, its just a DSL cable from outside, to my PC...

You checked your TCP port, SA-MP uses UDP.
Make sure you forwarded the UDP port.

I am having the same problem as him. I've put a static IP, I can join my server with both local IPs but my static IP just shows retrieving info for everyone. When portforwarding I've put "Both", in the option of choosing either UDP,TCP or Both.
TCP is open, UDP is not, according to PFchecker.. Also I have the same stats as him in Sa-mp checker..
How do I open UDP so?

Also, you will have a broadband modem/router, you don't plug your phone line directly into your computer. Follow the cable from your computer to the modem/router.
