Yes, usually through FTP.

When you buy a server from a host, they give you a password and username for FTP. You connect to ftp and upload your files to the server host.

You can edit your script at anytime you like. Just re-compile it and upload it through FTP.

Or you'll use a web client.

The best FTP program from experiance, and which is the most recommended one is "Filezilla".

I'm pretty sure every host offers at least one way to access your files, either using a file manager or FTP.
