SA:MP unable to recognize the SA .exe on Windows 7 64-bit - Ch1ll1ng - 31.10.2009
Since GTA4 MP sucks right and IV:MP isn't out now (or every
)I decided to go back to good ol' SA. However the install program wont recognize that the GTA:SA .exe is in the folder it's in, C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\grand theft auto san andreas. The "Next" button or even the "OK" button the browser window wont become enabled. They simply stay greyed out.I'd like to try to avoid the GTA:SA folder but if I have to I will. Any suggestions?

I take that back. I just read SA:MP .3a does not support the Steam version. Guess I'll have to digg out my DVD. I could have sworn it worked on my XP 32-bit Steam installation.
UDPATE: I pulled the .exe from the DVD replaced it. SA:MP is now working.
