LAN Game (no internet) using SA:MP, is it possible ? - LE_RANGER - 26.10.2009

Greetings everyone !
I'm new in here, and I hope i'm not asking something already answered elsewhere...
Btw I can't use the Search option in the forum.

I am going to be without the internet; I'd like to know if its possible to play GTA SA through LAN (2 computers linked) without internet ?
Could I host a local game with sa:mp ?

Thanks a lot in advance !

Hos is it possible ?

I want to play SAMP with my friend (Lan).

How do we fix it?

in the server config, find the line that says, lanmode and put 1 on it so it looks like this:
lanmode 1

1 = on 0 = off
Then just start the server.

You actually do not need to enable lanmode, lanmode just increases the speed at which the client and server sync.

To play over lan someone just has to host a server and then use the client and enter the local ip (ex. 192.168.1.6) of the computer that has the server running on it.

It's definitely possible, just host one on one of the computers, join on the other one, and to join on the host computer, just use 127.0.0.1:7777 (assuming the port would be 7777)

Hey people,
Thanks a lot for your fast replies, I now have clues to host my Lan without an internet connexion.
Cheers !
