Samp + Windows 7 - [GoC]Timmifreak - 21.10.2009

Sorry for my english
I have Windows 7 and my Samp does not save positions.
It says: I Can't open the savepositions.txt file for append
If i start Samp in the Admin mode or in any Compalibity Mode it does nothing.
In Vista it has worked with only the Run As Administrator Bottom.
Any help?

Re: Samp + Windows 7 - *James* - 21.10.2009

The only thing i can think of is creating the txt file yourself.

Re: Samp + Windows 7 - blondi - 21.10.2009

I have a similar problem, except for that I don't get any messages. Also using Windows 7. Tried reinstalling gta several times, but it never worked anyway. So what I am doing is getting nice guys to save positions for me lol

Re: Samp + Windows 7 - Cedimedi - 21.10.2009

its because the user account control don't allow sa-mp to open/create a file. just set it lower or disable it.

Re: Samp + Windows 7 - that_guy - 22.10.2009

I found mine, it was hiding in a hidden folder...
Quote:

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas

That is where my savedpositions.txt and all of my screen shots are..
i run vista =(
you need to have "view hidden folders" enables
Dunno if that matters at all really lolz

Re: Samp + Windows 7 - Cedimedi - 22.10.2009
