Need some help -
TheNuttyScientist - 20.10.2009
Im wanting to make my own sa-mp server, But I dont know how

. I basically have some questions I want answered
1. How do I set up a SA-MP server?
2. How much does it cost for a player slot? (Im thinking about 20-30 players for a server...)
3. Do I get my server on Game monitor automatically?
Thanks

1. Download the SA-MP server for Windows / Linux (
www.sa-mp.com/download) and start scripting. You can ask everything you want about scripting on this forum.
2. Depends what host you want. I recommend you
www.serverffs.com. For 25 players it cost 6.25Ђ/month.
3. No you must add it manually. Just register at GameMonitor and add a server.

Well I want to host it on my own, that's free right?

Yes it is free.
But you need to leave your computer on 24/7 (or don't turn it off

).
And you need a static IP address and that is expensive.

Well Im no gonna host my own anymore

. So, 20 players and server hosted by serverFFS = Ј4.47 every month, I think that's a decent price.

But you have a list of hosts pinned in Server support I think, and some of them have lower prices.
So take a look.
