v0.3 Won't Work? Please Help! - DeltaAirlines12 - 18.10.2009

Ok, I just downloaded v0.3, opened it, found a v0.3 server, connected to it, and when
it starts, it says "Samp v0.2 initialized" and its v0.3! The client even says its v0.3 at the top!
And then the server doesn't respond, samp v0.2 is still working though. (I have 2 gta_sa.exe
directorys, one for ea samp" So whats going on?

That's your problem. Running two versions of SA-MP at once will only prove to be problems. What you need to do, is uninstall SA-MP, from both folders, and keep only one of those folders. Then, go ahead and install SA-MP 0.3a and voila, it should now work.

You probably somewhat hooked your gta directory with 0.2 and are loading up a shortcut with 0.3, which leads to the hooked version with 0.2, starting 0.2 with some different offsets from the 0.3 exe, yet that doesn't make much of a difference.
