VPS setup help - Iceguru - 14.10.2009

So I purchased package 2 http://joinvps.com/ there and I want to know how to go about setting up a small 10 player server?

If you can help I can make you an admin on the server panel to show me were to put stuff.

It depends what OS you've got.

If you're using Linux, a good guide can be found here: https://sampwiki.blast.hk/wiki/Linux_Server

You will need a SSH client (such as PuTTy, ****** it) to connect to your VPS, then run the commands listed in that guide.
You will also probably want to implement one of the methods to keep your server online.

10 slot? if its a customer ok...but if its yours...wow, why not full 200 slots?.
+ Just download the server binary's, and execute them on your machine
If it is a windows machine
just run samp-server.exe
if its linux > terminal: cd /location/to/server (without ending with a /)
then type ./samp02Xsrv

I don't know what it is and its not a physical server that I have its online?
