Can't connect to own server. - Nat_Pagle - 11.10.2009

Alright so I spent a couple hours today, starting off from scratch (Had no idea about scripting, but wanting to learn). I read the "Are you a scripting beginner" guide with all the tons of guides on PAWN etc.

I found somekind of gamemode that I just borrowed to see if I'm even able to look around in the game with it, and able to make changes to it.
(I used this gamemode btw: http://forum.sa-mp.com/index.php?topic=63095.0)

I figured out how to change the server.cfg, added the 127.0.0.1:7777 to my favorites, I can see it there. Pinging etc.
When I try to enter, all I get is "Can't connect to server". As you would if you didnt have internet. Although I do.

Any clues on any stuff I have set wrong? Versions of SAMP or something?
I tried setting lanmode to both 0 and 1 in server.cfg but it made no difference.

EDIT: I am not even sure if the gamemode is for 0.2 or 0.3, in that case, How do I find out?
I also tried to enter the server in 0.3, but I just crash instantly before I even get to connect.

If the GM is for 0.3 then you will need 0.3 client to connect or it will show you "Server didnt respond" and if its of 0.2 then you need 0.2 client

Yeh but as mentioned I crash when trying to connect to any server with 0.3

Any clue what that might be?

Seems like a problem in the script maybe

-Edit- Never mind, im guessing the script is for 0.2 client since it was made in 2008
