Boost Speed (SetVehicleVelocity doesn't work on trains?!) - Pho3niXx - 05.10.2009

Hello,

I tested with a mate to put a "Nitro" on a train, but it's not working. Is it normal?

(It's working on other vehicles perfectly, but on trains it seems that we can't change his velocity).

I posted it as a Bug but my post was removed. To me SetVehicleVelocity should work on all vehicles, even trains

Trains aren't really vehicles by San Andreas' standards. They lie in a class on their own. They have tracks meaning the can't steer and are forced on them meaning they can't be teleported or changed. If Kye was forced to find a way to make trains' speed controllable he'd have to find a different value address and offset separate from standard vehicles.
In short, trains be straight trippin' home skillet.
