Um i think, go to your documents folder then to GTA SA user files then delete gta_sa.set file. Then start your game, if it does not work we will help you out

I have this problem with sa-mp everytime I try to connect into a server i get this message --> /imageshack/img40/548/130301143834.png I don't know why this shows up I tried asking people but they don't know how to fix it please if anyone can thanks.

i've installed GTA SA several times now
everytime i start the multiplayer loading screen shows, then i see sa:mp

This one is in the thread multiple times, please read before posting (hence I didn't reply earlier)!

This error has no results at all, anywhere. Follow these simple steps:

-Delete gta_sa.set. This file contains your settings & will crash your game if it is invalid or not compatible. Deleting will reset it to its default.
-Re-install SA-MP. You never know something might have bugged during installation.
-Re-install a legit v1.0 of GTA:SA. This will remove any modifications you have, any bugs during the installation & any removed files. Especially the modifications part - I assume you installed some incompatible mod.
-If all this didn't work, continue describing what exactly happens when & your pc specifications. Maybe it is a SA-MP bug, so Kalcor would need your information in order to fix it. However it might also be a problem with your computer itself.

Fix for 0x0040F64C. Right click your SA:MP, go to compatibility, and tick the 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings'. Sorted.

I'm getting this crash at the 'blue' screen overlooking the LS beach when connecting to a server, it crashes before 'connecting to <ip>' appears. Game/Client has run perfect for years and now this. I have to make a new windows account every time I play. I am using an administrator account and have always given even basic users full access/security rights to all the game files that didn't already have it.

edit: I have found the solution to this issue.

Do you by chance have any mods installed? Uninstall those. Only result - https://sampforum.blast.hk/showthread.php?tid=471246

Hello all, for some users whenever you recieve a crash make sure you do not have another version in
taskmanger-processes-gta_sa.exe running this can be the cause of many crashes I have found.
