You can have up to 4GB in that if it's 32bit, otherwise more if it's 64bit.

If you want four you would need something like 2x DDR2 2GB

It's a widely known fact. Maximum of 4GB of RAM for 32-bit Operating Systems.

Thats i know , but mabye motherboard dont endure so much ?
In my motherboard book is text : Each module can be installed with 256 mb to 1 GB of memory; total memory capacity is 2GB

The max RAM that will be used in 32bit is 2gb, if you want to exceed this limit and use 3gb or more of RAM you need to upgrade to an x64 operative system.

Thats a hardware limitation. If your mobo only supports up to 1gb ram chips and you only have 2 slots, then you can only have 2gb of ram.
Operating system wise, 32 bit operating systems will only detect up to 4gb of ram, regardless of what you have on your mobo.

Then why havent any 32bit operative system used all the 4gb in a pc, regardless of the motherboards limitation?

...if the MoBo has a limitation then you can't exceed it. If I put two 2GB sticks in slots which only support 1GB, then it won't work at all. Just beacause the OS has the ability, doesn't mean the MoBo does.

a) You might not actually have 4gb of RAM installed on your motherboard
b) Windows 32bit is actually more 3.2gb rather than 4gb in terms of detecting RAM.

I'm getting a new video card because my GeForce 8500GT VRAM became corrupt (overheated), and I'm on a budget. Preferably less than $120 CAD. I was looking at these two:

I'm not sure which of those two I should choose (if I should choose those two). I generally don't play very demanding games (I have my 360 for that). Usually GTA SA, Fallout 3, Sims 2/3, etc. What would you guys recommend?

They are mainly the same in most way's But i would go with Nvidia.

I have a dual core (E2140) with 250W power supply and a simple fan.

It was stock 1,6Ghz and I've clocked it to 2,0 ghz, CORE TEMP tells me it reaches a maximum of 50~55C, should I be worried?

I also run a desktop fan under my desk cus' it gets quite hot in my room (I keep the windows closed because it gets cold outside lol).

I has another question that I've wanted to ask for a while.

Can you overclock RAM? if so can you tell me what that does & what bad can happen?
And a tutorial (doesn't have to be from you lol)

No, 55c is actually a good level. When it reaches over 65 then you should worry.
