Re: SA-MP ERROR: Exception At Address: 0x004DFE92 - refshal - 07.07.2009

After you created the new user on Windows? Hmm... If that's right, then try to create a new user again, and re-install your GTA and SA-MP.

Re: SA-MP ERROR: Exception At Address: 0x004DFE92 - EvilHomer - 15.07.2009

Would be really cool to get a stickied post with ONLY the right answers to this

INTERNAL error and EXCEPTION ERROR is NOT the same, so why are all of you giving the same answers to both? (not speaking to either coop or eddy i ment the forum in general)

I am on Vista Ultimate 32bit on a fairly new medion PC dual 2.4ghz
And i used search.. (about 20 pages of people who cant agree..) And ive read them all..
Dont have mods..
Tried setting compat. mode to everything on both samp, gta, and the server, since thats also something NOONE can agree on..
Deleted the settings file, and also tried changing resolution ingame, changed graphics driver (3 different), frame limiter on and off..
EDIT: Oh and ive also reinstalled vista from scratch 2 times now since starting to fix this EXCEPTION error that i have.
This MIGHT be a vista problem, so please always remember to put VISTA in your threadname or in the posts..

I might be forgetting something, but Ive got the game running a little bit better after checking the posts, but i still get random crashes, both on others, and on my own server.

Would be very much appreciated if someone who actually knew something made a stickie that told ALL the RIGHT answers to all the problems people had in the 20+ posts about exception error AND the internal error.. who are NOT the same thing..

And maybe instead of saying make a new user on windows.. tell us HOW that would work, since ive reinstalled a bunch of times and always only have one user wich is administrator. And what does my user have todo with samp crashing?

Re: SA-MP ERROR: Exception At Address: 0x004DFE92 - EvilHomer - 16.07.2009

bumping this so people dont have to look through the tonz of posts with no answers..

Re: SA-MP ERROR: Exception At Address: 0x004DFE92 - Dynamite - 17.07.2009

So to fix this... i must make a new user?

Re: SA-MP ERROR: Exception At Address: 0x004DFE92 - EvilHomer - 17.07.2009

I cant see what that will do myself ( maybe someone can explain it?), unless they mean its because your supposed to make an administrator account so you dont have to always click run as administrator in vista.. but ive tried it anyway and didnt do anything for me.

Re: SA-MP ERROR: Exception At Address: 0x004DFE92 - willAnAtor - 30.07.2009

thanks for all your time but it isn't fixed, and im not gonna try anymore to get it worked because its all a shitload of work
thanks everybody

this topic can be closed for me but maybe there are some others with he same problem so...

Re: SA-MP ERROR: Exception At Address: 0x004DFE92 - Salvator_Salieri - 01.08.2009

FUCK REINSTALLS, FUCK MODS REMOVAL, FUCK SYS CLEAN, FUCK THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WIN-XP AND VISTA, FUCK THE DX9 DLL, THE SAME SHIT HAPPENS NO MATTER WTF U DO!

It didnt happen with 0.2.2 R3!

Maybe this samp version sux and in my oppinion samp lives on like windows: the newer it gets the more "trouble" it brings.

Re: SA-MP ERROR: Exception At Address: 0x004DFE92 - Adil - 01.08.2009

Try Reinstalling Sa single mode and samp too...it looks like a common thing to me, i dont think that this is a problem i think it happens to few people, maybe samp 0.2x crash bug or something.

I disagree with you... I've re-installed my game - sa-mp a few times because I had some random problems, and they were fixed. And I think you mean "d3d9.dll" instead of "DX9.dll".

Re: SA-MP ERROR: Exception At Address: 0x004DFE92 - Salvator_Salieri - 03.08.2009

yea i meant that d3d9.dll thats in the directx 9 so thats why i "called it" DX9.dll

So many people have said in the past to remove the d3d9.dll from the folder, as it is used... primarily, and probably only Mods and Hacks...

SAMP doesn't support mods. (Even though people do install mods, and get away with it, Doesn't mean that it'll always work for you...)

Re: SA-MP ERROR: Exception At Address: 0x004DFE92 - Salvator_Salieri - 04.08.2009

I know that many ppl say that samp doesnt support mods and sum ppl tell me that each script reacts differently to vehicle/ped/wep mods and that could be the problem.
I don't think that each of this infos are 100% true cuz i used sum mods when the 0.2.2 R3 was out only and NO CRASHES none of the servers i went onto and no shitty stuff like this "SA-MP ERROR: Exception At Address: 0x004DFE92" happened either.

Re: SA-MP ERROR: Exception At Address: 0x004DFE92 - -SausageMcMuffin- - 15.08.2009

I think i might know a solution yesterday i downloaded samp and i played it for some hours with no problems but today at some random point of gameplay it crashes because of that gta_sa.exe problem,
so because i downloaded it yesterday it was a new user account, so maybe if u change make a new account everyday you won't get any problems.

I don't even know if u can actualy make a new account if someone knows if it's possible please tell me how it is done

Re: SA-MP ERROR: Exception At Address: 0x004DFE92 - LiberatorXD - 15.08.2009

EvilHomer, you were talking about some sticky thread... Hmm the only problem is, there is no such right or wrong solution.. SA-MP reacts different on almost every computer.

Salvator_Salieri, yeah.. Exactly.. You got something there (;
- I though i were the only one experiencing problems AFTER 0.2X update. So i guess we just have to wait for the next patch :P

-SausageMcMuffin-, meeh.. Dont you mean a guess, since you dont even have it tested yet ^^...

Re: SA-MP ERROR: Exception At Address: 0x004DFE92 - Lars_Frederiksen - 08.11.2010

Okay I was havin this shit ass error too. If you keep having it and you're running Windows Vista. Simply just right click SA-MP and run as administrator.

Re: SA-MP ERROR: Exception At Address: 0x004DFE92 - Ash. - 30.06.2011

Can I just say, in light of everyone complaining about errors.

I have no modifications on my game, none at all. The only crashes I get are server side errors (invalid vehicle components, for example) - Those complaining about CLIENT crashes, should consider playing with a clean San Andreas installation. I have no client problems with a clean game.

I know the original poster claimed to have no modifications, so I would attempt to reinstall DirectX.

I'd say the original poster probably fixed the issue by now, and that the other posters probably forgot this thread.

OP made the thread 2 years ago, and the last post before you bumped was over 8 months ago.
