Just saying, SA-MP is not a non-profit either. Game-MP is not some third-party company, it's owned by the SA-MP team.
It has nothing to do with how server owners choose to sustain their own servers.

They're in no position to enforce anything against such a platform when they operate one themselves.

Actually they are and they're not enforcing anything against the platform itself.
The SA-MP team just stated that selling scripts is not allowed.
They made no rules on how servers get their own profit, and it's fair, cause it's not interfering with their business.
