Because JS can be evil on untrusted websites, especially if you're on a non-ssl website like forum.sa-mp.com.


Advised to turn off JS on these forums and in general where https:// isn't supported.

Moreover, advertisements can be evil as well.

Main reason why I use adblock. Not because the ads are highly annoying, but the main reason is because ads can be malicious, wouldn't be the first that websites serve ads with malware in them.
