I met him in sa-mp back in the summer of 2009. Both of us were into drifting and we were rivals in the beginning.
After that he left sa-mp for a while, I retired from drifting, but we both played Dota, World of Warcraft, and other stuff.
We basically have the same taste in everything and that made it easy for us to relate.
I have 2 other contacts with who I keep the same relationship, but I didn't get the chance to meet them in person, but the day will come, eventually.

Man, in Australia we can't even get to another state in less than 300km let alone another country.

Yup, I've met some really cool people on SA-MP over the years, and I met up with a bunch of them IRL who are now my IRL best friends who I hang out with regularly
Even lived with a few of them for a while.
