This idea just hit me.
What about, @ each start of map (round or w/e).
- Player choose an object as their 'hiding' object.
- Player runs in his free time to find a good spot to place the object.
- The player's ped/skin/w/e you call it is removed and player is now in spectating mode.
- If hunter find out his box, He's screwed (lel)
- If hunter didn't and he wanted to move, He can press a hotkey to turn into normal shape again and run and so on.
Problems : Hunter can just walk around and shoot everything lol.

As far as I know pretty much any obstacle Rudy_ has hit, has so far been overcome and a work around has been found? Therefore the above suggestion by Hossa wouldn't be necessary.
Rudy_ can correct me if I'm wrong?

This will change the whole idea of PropHunt.

Hello , I am thinking if you can do that because actually I don't know if that's makeable
my suggestion
-To make the player invisible you can put its body in another VW and set a camera to the game's vs and this camera should be moveable and when a player shoot in range if the hidden players x,y,z the player takes the damdge and you can put a ammo limits to avoid the shooting abuse
Maybe its simple or hard just tried to help

Not possible to have different vw's for player and camera, Though it still won't work as the object will have no collisions.
I found a way how to do it and i think that will help me.

Have you made any progress on this so far? I was just about to start building this gamemode on a concept that I had. But I did some googling first to see if anyone had beat me.

You could give everyone automaticly a skin id which is rather small. (Like the old people skins)

I have tried to implement option 2 quite some time ago. The biggest problem is though that the RC Tiger can be seen on the map due to the small grey icon. Another problem is that you can use /dl and a big blue text will display over every vehicle, including the RC Tiger, making the hidden player very obvious.
SA-MP is just not made for such mini games I'm afraid.

I've already made the core of the Gamemode, There are Skins instead of RC and its all like prophunt, Working as it should.
I left scripting, so its all stopped right there, Maybe for now..
Might hand it over to someone else...
