Guys, just because your friends left SAMP doesn't mean SAMPs dying, GTA V came out so it hurt the playbase of SAMP a little bit, but in a few months people will be back to SA:MP and we'll have even more people..
Wanna know why? Because GTA V isn't on PC yet. When GTA V hits PC, DAYUMNNNNNNNNNN thats gonna hurt SA:MP lol

Why are people always thinking the release of new GTA multiplayers will affect SA:MP? It won't. SA:MP is entirely different from other (official) multiplayers like GTA Online, the biggest being the possibility to craft your own gamemode. These two multiplayers aren't the same, you can't say all SA:MP players are gonna switch to GTA Online, just as you can't say all bike-riders will switch to cars when a new model comes out.

No other multiplayer can affect SA:MP's player base, old players go, new players come.
