- 99% of roleplay servers are not even "unique", it's just the same overused shit. A unique roleplay server would have stock markets and a structured economy. Paying $10,000 for a phonebook and $500 for a phone is not realistic, or paying $1,000,000 for a station wagon.

Being the Development Manager at Project: LA, I find this EXTREMELY insulting, not even constructive criticism, cause most of what you mentioned is utter rubbish.

You serious? You spawn at a taxi location, which straight away is a FREE JOB, RIGHT THERE. You get a car, which is a taxi. -AT LEAST A 30 PLAYER AVG. If you make a server and it's a great server, you have to know how to sell yourself. Advertise properly and set everything up. Don't be a lazy hobo. Invite friends, use any means, but get those starting players and you're off. Just make sure you're unique.
-LIGHTRP/MEDRP -> EXCUSE TO RIDE AROUND WITH BUDDIES AND Drive-BY DM every person you f***ing see. Cut this bullshit!

Its their server they can run it however they want to. Maybe you should stop being such a "Lazy hobo" and go make a roleplay yourself and get 30 players on it.

And this, right here, is why there are so many shit servers. Kids don't like the servers that are available to play on so they come to the SA:MP forums to learn how to turn on their own server, download one of the scripts (because that's what they think makes a good server) and put it online!

In all seriousness though, 99% of all SA:MP RP servers are edits run by kids that don't even know what PAWN is.

But, again, we can bitch all we want- nothing's going to change. Kids will do what they want and there's no stopping 'em!
