AFAIK, xObjects is best if you need only objects.

It's GPL, he can do as he likes within the license, I'm just happy people are using it.

I did make an icon streamer, it's a YSI extension, not included in the main package but available on the YSI forums.

The YSI plugin has never been stress tested but can probably hold more than that as it uses a much more direct communication method than Boylett's, but as usual, as I said in that topic, he's managed to produce a worse, yet more popular, version of something I've done before.
