When playing on the server, I get disconnected and it says unacceptable nickname.
I can close the game and rejoin but why is it doing this?
Is it a hacker?

What was your SA-MP name when you tried to log into the server?

You sometimes get that when relogging or when the server restarts (same as the "You are banned from this server." bug).

Just relog and you should be fine.

Name is Cartel
The server doesn't restart, it only says it does.....I could be playing for a hour or 10mins.
It seems to happen when I'm fighting a hacker type player, like this guy.

It's a registered name.

That might indeed be the problem.

If you lose the connection with the server, the server will keep the player "online" for a while. Until he timeouts. If you join before the timeout happened, you get this message, as there is still a player with your name in-game!
